Terms of Service

TalkTrack Pro is a web teleprompter. Your scripts are yours. Use the service reasonably, and understand that it is provided as-is — if you are reading live on air, keep a fallback, as any web app can have a bad day.

TalkTrack Pro scrolls scripts on screen — at a set speed, by following your voice, or from an outline — with a script library, optional cloud sync, and optional AI tools. By using it you agree to these terms; if you do not agree, please don’t use the service.

You keep all rights to the scripts and outlines you create or upload. You give us only the permission needed to operate the service: storing your scripts (in our database or your browser) and displaying them back to you. We never use your content for anything else, and we don’t train AI models on it. Text you send to AI features is processed by xAI, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for what you put in your scripts and for having the right to use any content you upload or import.

You can use TalkTrack Pro without an account (your data stays in your browser), or create an account to sync scripts across devices. You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe and for activity under your account. You must provide a working email address if you create an account.

AI features send the text you choose to xAI’s Grok API and show you the result. AI output can be wrong, awkward, or unsuitable — review it before you read it on air. You are responsible for what you ultimately say. AI usage is rate-limited to keep the service available for everyone.

The core product is free. Paid plans, when offered, are billed through Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record — its checkout terms apply to the purchase. You can cancel at any time from your account’s billing portal; your plan stays active until the end of the period you paid for. During free-launch periods, features advertised as paid may be available to everyone at no charge; that availability can end without notice.

Don’t:

• break, probe, or overload the service, or evade its rate limits;
• use the service to violate the law or the rights of others;
• resell access to the service or the AI features;
• interfere with other people's use of the service.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that voice recognition will work in every browser or environment.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including lost profits, lost recordings, or a flubbed live read — arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or zero if you used only the free tier.

You can stop using the service or delete your data at any time. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms. If we ever discontinue the service, we will make reasonable efforts to give you a way to export your scripts first.

We may update these terms as the product evolves. We will update the date at the top of this page, and material changes will be called out in the product changelog. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
